A gorgeous wine, it shows the ultra-classic style of this domaine perfectly with ripe red and black berries, peppery garrigue, flowers, and an undeniably mineral character. Medium to full-bodied, with a fresh, focused mouthfeel, ripe and building tannins, and outstanding length, it offers pleasure today yet will benefit from 4-6 years of bottle age and keep for 20-30 years if you&rsquo;re so inclined. Drink 2029-2055.<\/p>\n<h6>Vieux T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe Rouge 2024 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>Another classic wine from this estate, the 2024 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape is based on 65% Grenache, 15% each Syrah and Mourv\u00e8dre, and 5% Cinsault and other varieties, aged 20-22 months in 60-hectoliter French oak foudres. It offers juicy red and black fruits, pepper, graphite, crushed stone, and sappy flowers. Medium-bodied, with a fresh, focused, vibrant mouthfeel, plenty of tannins, and outstanding length, it plays in the fresh, focused style of the vintage yet brings solid structure and a classic sense of austerity.<\/p>\n<h6>Vieux T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe Blanc 2024 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>(95) Based on 40% Clairette, 25% each Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, and 10% Bourboulenc and brought up sur lie in barrels, demi-muids, and 30-hectoliter foudres, the 2024 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape Blanc exudes aromas of honeyed stone fruits, crushed minerals, white flowers, brioche, and a hint of almond paste. It&rsquo;s medium to full-bodied, with a pure, focused, elegant mouthfeel and a great finish. This is a quintessential, ultra-classic, balanced, impeccably made Ch\u00e2teauneuf du Pape Blanc that needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will keep for 10-15 years in cold cellars. Drink 2027-2040.<\/p>\n<h6>Clos Roqu\u00e8te Blanc 2024 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>(94) Brought up in foudre and demi-muids, the 2024 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape Clos Roqu\u00e8te Blanc offers stone fruits and golden orchard notes with a beautiful white flower and honeysuckle-driven perfume. It&rsquo;s medium-bodied, with a pure, concentrated mid-palate, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length. Based on equal parts Roussanne, Clairette, and Grenache Blanc from the sandy soils of La Roqu\u00e8te, this is another impeccably made white from this family. Drink 2025-2035.<\/p>\n<h6>Piedlong 2023 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>(94) Not far off a Rayas-like style with its transparent ruby hue, the 2023 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape Piedlong is based on 90% Grenache and 10% Mourv\u00e8dre and aged 20-22 months in 60-hectoliter French oak foudres. It shows incredibly floral aromatics of framboise, spring flowers, minty herbs, and peppery, rose-like hints. Medium-bodied, with a balanced, juicy, seamless mouthfeel, fine tannins, and outstanding length, it&rsquo;s a beauty that should be given 3-4 years of bottle age if you can and will drink beautifully over the following 15 years. Drink 2027-2040.<\/p>\n<h6>Piedlong 2024 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>(91-93) Based on 90% Grenache and 10% Mourv\u00e8dre from the plateau caillouteux de Piedlong, the 2024 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape Piedlong was fermented with 50% stems and aged 20-22 months in 60-hectoliter French oak foudres. It shows a gorgeous nose of wild strawberries, framboise, pepper, and flowers in its medium ruby-hued, medium-bodied profile. Vibrant and lively on the palate, it has fine tannins, integrated acidity, and a great finish. Drink 2025-2035.<\/p>\n<h6>T\u00e9l\u00e9gramme 2023 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>(90) Based on 80% Grenache with smaller amounts of Syrah, Mourv\u00e8dre, and Cinsault and aged 15-16 months in French oak foudres, the 2023 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape T\u00e9l\u00e9gramme offers ripe black cherries, minty herbs, flowers, and pepper. It&rsquo;s medium-bodied and has a charming, juicy, elegant mouthfeel with soft, integrated tannins and outstanding length. Drink 2025-2035.<\/p>\n<h6>T\u00e9l\u00e9gramme 2024 \u2013 Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/h6>\n<p>(89-91) The entry-level cuv\u00e9e coming from tiny yields due to shatter and mildew, the 2024 Ch\u00e2teauneuf Du Pape T\u00e9l\u00e9gramme is based on 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 6% Mourv\u00e8dre, and 4% Cinsault, aged 15-16 months in 30- to 60-hectoliter French oak foudres. It offers attractive notes of raspberry and darker berries, pepper, sappy herbs, and darker mineral nuances. Medium-bodied, with a supple, elegant mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a good finish, it should shine right out of the gate.<\/p>\n<h6>Pigeoulet Rouge 2024 &#8211; IGP Vaucluse<\/h6>\n<p>(87-88) Based on 55% Grenache, 15% each Syrah and Carignan, 8% Cinsault, and 7% Mourv\u00e8dre and aged 15 months in 60-hectoliter foudres, the 2024 IGP Vaucluse Pigeoulet reveals juicy blackberries, pepper, underbrush, and damp stone-like minerality. It&rsquo;s medium-bodied, juicy, easy-drinking, and delicious. It would be a great house red and will have a solid 4-6 years of prime drinking.<\/p>\n<h6>Pigeoulet Blanc 2024 &#8211; IGP Vaucluse Blanc 2024<\/h6>\n<p>(90) Coming from 60% Clairette with the rest Grenache Blanc and Roussanne plus a splash of Rolle, the 2024 IGP Vaucluse Pigeoulet Blanc reveals ripe melon, honeyed citrus, and sappy, floral nuances. It&rsquo;s medium-bodied, fresh, focused, and vibrant, with a layered, elegant texture and outstanding length. This is another impeccably made white from this family that brings beautiful richness as well as freshness.
