(87-88) Based on 55% Grenache, 15% each Syrah and Carignan, 8% Cinsault, and 7% Mourvèdre and aged 15 months in 60-hectoliter foudres, the 2024 IGP Vaucluse Pigeoulet reveals juicy blackberries, pepper, underbrush, and damp stone-like minerality. It’s medium-bodied, juicy, easy-drinking, and delicious. It would be a great house red and will have a solid 4-6 years of prime drinking.
