(91-93) Based on 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre from the plateau caillouteux de Piedlong, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Piedlong was fermented with 50% stems and aged 20-22 months in 60-hectoliter French oak foudres. It shows a gorgeous nose of wild strawberries, framboise, pepper, and flowers in its medium ruby-hued, medium-bodied profile. Vibrant and lively on the palate, it has fine tannins, integrated acidity, and a great finish. Drink 2025-2035.

(91-93) Using roughly 40% whole clusters, the complex 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pope PiedLong opens with delicious orange rind, forest strawberry and herbal features. Savory and inviting, the 2024 showcases superb overall freshness, drawing to a close with elegance on the fruit-etched finish. 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre were used in this blend.
