(90-92) Coming from higher elevation limestone soils, the 2024 Gigondas Terrasse Du Diable is based on 90% Grenache Noir, 5% Mourvèdre, and 5% Clairette, aged 20 months in 60-hectoliter French oak foudres. Bright, juicy red and black berry fruits, peppery herbs, and violets define the aromatics. It’s medium-bodied, with a pure, focused mouthfeel, nicely integrated tannins and acidity, and outstanding length.
(91-93) The 2024 Gigondas Terrasse du Diable is sexy and perfumed, unwinding with intense orange blossom, red plum, rose petal and spicy undertones. Medium-to full-bodied, smoothly textured and ultra-fresh, the 2024 is shaping up to be yet another delightful Terrasse du Diable from the talented Brunier family.
